Pauline Murray lives and works in the north-east of Scotland. Her work is very much in keeping with the contemporary “Scottish Colourist” movement. She works in a variety of disciplines- landscape, still-life and figurative painting with elements of symbolism. Her paintings display a bold use of colour and a loose, expressionist handling of media. Most of her recent work is in acrylics but she also uses pastel, mixed media and watercolour. The website is intended to be a showcase for the kind of work she has been producing over the last few years. Much of the work displayed is still available and Pauline would welcome queries, via the contact page, from anyone interested in her work, whether to purchase or simply find out more. |
