This is a wonderful vehicle to allow me to enjoy colour and the medium of paint! I like to work quickly and keep the colour and paint-handling as fresh as possible. I am also interested in the effects created by juxtaposing objects with highly patterned backgrounds and, as you can see, flowers are a frequently-visited subject. Look out for bird and fish imagery creeping in too! |
